January always arrives with a quiet invitation—not to rush forward, but to pause, orient, and choose how we move. This year, that invitation feels especially clear to me.
As I entered 2026, I set a simple but deeply intentional framework for myself: more intent, more direction, more acceptance, and more peace. So far, I feel myself moving steadily in that direction—not perfectly, but honestly. And that honesty matters.
Lately, the world feels like a whirlwind. Life as a human feels more polarized than I can ever remember. There is so much noise, so many pulls on our attention, our emotions, and our energy. In the midst of that, I’ve come to recognize something essential: if I want to stay grounded in my path—my journey and my destination—I must take responsibility for how I move through life.
That realization has shifted everything.
I am learning that grounding doesn’t come from controlling outcomes; it comes from developing a method. A sequence. A way of approaching my experiences with intention rather than reaction. It means prioritizing what truly matters—what makes the greatest impact on my life and aligns with my values—and allowing everything else to fall into its proper place afterward.
For me, that priority is clear: myself, my family, and my community. When those are centered, everything I create—my jewelry, my workshops, my relationships, my work—flows from a place of alignment rather than urgency.
The image I’m sharing this month captures that reflection perfectly. Standing in the park, looking down into a mirror, I see my feet grounded where I am—present, steady, oriented. The mirror reminds me that reflection is not about judgment; it’s about awareness. Where am I standing? Where am I headed? And am I moving with intention?
This is 2026.
This is my path.
This is my intention setting.
Here’s to recalibrating—gently, consciously, and with purpose.
